Dr Anna Sahafi (DDS)
Owner/Principal Dentist – The Heart Behind Nordic Dental
Anna graduated from the world-renowned University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 2002 and has practiced across Sweden, the UK, and Australia. With over 25 yrs. experience in all areas of general dentistry, her true passion lies in surgical procedures; implants, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
Her mission? To empower patients with the knowledge they need for amazing oral health and outcomes. Anna designed Nordic Dental to be a place where dentistry feels relaxing, comfortable, and is pain free, supported by a custom built surgery and the latest digital technology.
When she’s not caring for patients, Anna is shaping the future of dentistry lecturing for the Australian Dental Association (ADA), mentoring new graduates, and collaborating on innovation and sustainability with manufacturers.
And outside the dental world? You’ll find Anna soaking up the sun at the beach or feeding her growing boys and furry friend, Lulu! 
Dr Muireann McKenna
Dentist – Welcome Muireann!
We are delighted to welcome Dr Muireann McKenna to the team at Nordic Dental.
Originally from Ireland, Dr McKenna graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from University College Cork in 2022. Since graduating, Muireann has continued to build on her skills through postgraduate studies with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, as well as gaining valuable clinical experience while working in Edinburgh, Scotland before settling on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Dr McKenna is an excellent fit for Nordic Dental, she is passionate about personalised, calm, pain free and high quality dental care. Her clinical interests include preventative and minimally invasive dentistry, paediatric care, and periodontics, with a strong focus on patient education and long term oral health.
Outside the clinic, Muireann enjoys staying active through running, swimming, and hiking, and also loves unwinding with a good book.
We are thrilled to have Dr Mckenna as part of our team and know our patients will appreciate her warm approach and dedication to excellent care.
Hiromi Slatter
Dental Hygienist – Welcome Home Hiromi
Hiromi Slatter is a highly experienced and compassionate Dental Hygienist with over 20 years of expertise in periodontal care, preventative dentistry, and patient education. Known for her gentle approach and calming chairside manner, Hiromi is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their oral health.
She brings extensive knowledge in both general and cosmetic procedures including in chair whitening and orthodontic support and is committed to personalised, patient‑centred care. Fluent in both English and Japanese, Hiromi values building long-term relationships built on trust, clear communication, and exceptional clinical standards.
Being a Manly local Hiromi’s calm, friendly, and Northern Beaches lifestyle matches the vibes at Nordic Dental 
Emilie Nicolet Dix Felix
Dental Assistant – From Army Boots to Dental Smiles – Meet Emilie!
Emilie joins us all the way from Switzerland, bringing a seriously impressive mix of experience from serving in the Army to working in healthcare, and now diving into the world of dentistry over the past 6 months!
Her positive attitude and passion for perfection means every patient gets the very best care. Emilie’s energy is contagious, whether she’s in the clinic or hitting the gym (she doesn’t just work out, she teaches too! 
).
And here’s a fun twist: Emilie is deeply into crystals and all things spiritual. She’s our resident Zen Master, keeping the vibes calm and positive for both the team and our patients. 
Annabel Gallacher
Reception/Welcome Crew – Calm and Caring all the Way – Meet Annabel
Annabel is a born and bred Manly girl who carries that classic coastal calm
wherever she goes. At Nordic, she’s the friendly face in reception who genuinely loves hearing patient stories it’s her favourite part of the job.
Outside of work, she’s recently all about movement, sunshine, and adventure
. You’ll find her at mat Pilates, stretched out on the sand, or cruising up and down the coast on camping trips. She’s big on family time, loves catching up with friends.
Soon, Annabel will be diving into further studies, (she already has a Bachelor of Commerce), taking on a degree in Nursing with a special passion for paediatrics, a perfect match for her warm, caring nature.
